Inspired by a journey along part of the St James’ pilgrimage route in Northern France, “Chartres” is a compound print in shades of blue connoting the city’s legendary blue glass and is comprised of five separate images including the famous rose window and the astrological clock of the cathedral and depictions of the nearby river Eure and wild roses growing along its banks.
