Inspired by a journey from Tours to Chartres, “Eglantine” is a compound print in 5 layers each with a different image of the same wild rose photographed on the banks of the River Allier. The inks were carefully mixed to capture the various dark pink hues seen in the sweetbriar’s fading blooms.
